Primary market: Metalworking As of the summer of 2020, 3M has redesigned their entire Green Corps product line. This includes all rolocs, grinding discs, grinding wheels, and cut-off wheels. With 3M's new technology, the grade/grit of the abrasive varies compared to the previous grade/grit based off the old part numbers. The newer discs are more aggressive which allows the new 80 grit to cut like the old 50 grit. The newer, more aggressive design has a self-sharpening mineral allowing the disc to last longer.
