This is an 14 foot aftermarket cable that’s compatible with NCR, Aloha, and Radiant Systems PCR bump bars connected to the 12 volt RS232 serial port on a kitchen controller / Kitchen Display Systems (KDS). The list below shows compatible bump bars and controllers. This cable is 168 inches with two 6-pin RJ-12 male ends for compatible 12V applications. Technically, a 6-wire to 6-pin configuration is called 6P6C with a RJ-12 end, but it’s commonly referred to by the similar RJ-11 nomenclature. There is no such thing as a universal point of sale cable, so the pin-outs will differ widely for different brands and models. This will commonly connect to a COM or SER (often #3 or #4) port on the compatible terminal, but consult your technical manual for confirmation.
